As a United Methodist lay person, she has served as a youth pastor, a Volunteer in Mission for two years in Malawi, and for over ten years in publishing, including serving on staff at The Upper Room. Kara currently serves as the Executive Director at <i>St. Mary's Sewanee: The Ayres Center for Spiritual Development</i>, where she continues to provide space and opportunity for spiritual formation.</p><p>Kara es escritora y una persona de espíritu contemplativo, cuenta con más de 15 años de experiencia en posiciones de liderazgo en las áreas de formación espiritual, hospitalidad y crecimiento organizativo.
