The Lauers have written 15 books and numerous articles for religious and popular magazines and speak from their experience in counseling and working with couples in marriage enrichment groups for many years. Robert holds BS and PhD degrees from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, and a BD from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. Jeanette holds a BS degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and a PhD from Washington University. Both served as professors and deans at U.S. International University.
