Safiyah Fosua is a retired elder from the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the UMC and a retired Associate Professor of Spiritual Formation and Worship at Wesley Seminary in Marion, Indiana. She also recently retired from the program faculty for the Doctor or Ministry in Black Leadership and Ministry at the Nazarene Theological Seminary. Safiyah was the Associate Editor of the first Africana Worship Book series, has written several books, and appears in several multi-author publications. She is married to the Rev. Dr. Kwasi Kena.
